Warehouse Labor - Break Pack Sorter - General Laborer

Hourly Pay:

$15.50/hr.

Rotating shift: Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues 5a to 3:30p

As a Break Pack Sorter, you'll get to hand sort reusable cardboard boxes to grade and ensure a clean and safe working area is maintained.The General Laborer is responsible for hand-sorting materials such as wooden pallets, boxes, and plastic bins, and other miscellaneous duties throughout the distribution center. Responsibilities also include achieving expected production requirements, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Also will have operational functions for their location, on their assigned shift. This position reports to the local RAD Manager or OSM. Duties include, but are not limited to: daily production data entry, processing Bills of Lading, invoicing, communicating with vendors, directing and controlling the flow of drivers, and communicating with customers.

What You'll Do

• Hand stack cardboard boxes onto designated pallets to appropriate height
• Load/unload materials from trailers by hand
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Check finished pallets are properly secured prior to moving
• Move pallets and materials in crates around the storage facility
• Assist with coordinating trailer moves
• Accurately complete all production paperwork
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager to provide regular updates
• Maintain Relogistics efficiency and standards of production

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• High degree of attention required to avoid safety incidents
• Ability to work overtime if/when necessary
• Previous experience with warehouse labor, general labor, construction, material handling, material moving is preferred

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
