Job Description

Planned Systems International (PSI) is searching for prior rated operationally experienced pilots, maintenance, Special Mission Aviators and Aircrew Flight Equipment for opportunities located at Langley AFB, Virginia, supporting efforts at the ACC HQ's Staff. Candidates will support Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS), by translating weapons systems requirements by providing assessments weapons systems capabilities and translating systems requirements in resource evaluations. Candidates will provide Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) Support by providing support to effectively plan, program, budget, and execute resource requirements. This includes building and defending 4-Star decision data via the USAF Strategic Planning and Programming Process and directly influencing the POM process once those planning decisions are made.

The candidate shall monitor and analyze funding execution to ensure consistent and proper resource alignment among projects. Assist and support efforts to accomplish studies, technical analysis, and reports. These efforts will provide information necessary to determine capability gaps, inefficiencies, and effectiveness of capabilities to combat current threats within the A5/8/9 mission areas.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and document operational requirements and conduct study planning and execution in support of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Documentation System (JCIDS), such as Capabilities Based Assessments (CBAs), Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Design Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), DOTMLPF-P Change Requests (DCRs) and other related activities.
  • Maintain broad technical and analytical resource proficiency to efficiently translate weapon system and Plans, Programs and Requirements force structure portfolio requirements into documented resource reports. This will require maintaining a close interface with a wide range of users, developers, industry, Air Staff, and other agencies as required to ensure resource development efforts are aligned with National Military Strategy, Defense Planning Guidance and other HQ USAF directives. The Contractor is expected to utilize analytical skills and tools to mitigate Plans, Programs and Requirements portfolio operational combat risk by helping to develop force structure options out 25 years . This includes addressing combat risk in force structure and weapons.
  • Assist with facilitating and integrating efforts of working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure consistency of data/information that is being developed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • MAJCOM or higher-level staff (combination of active duty, government service, or contractor)
  • Rated operational A/G experience, TACP, F-15, F-16, F-22, or F-35 pilot experience, EW Experience, Rescue Pilot, Combat Rescue Officer, Guardian Angel, Aircrew Flight Equipment, Helicopter Maintenance, 5th Gen Fighter MX, SMA, EWO's
  • Secret clearance eligible for upgrade to Top Secret, SCI, and SAP
  • JCIDS Requirements (or equivalent) experience

  • PEM Experience
  • PPBE Experience
  • Tactical Radio/Guardian Angel experience
  • Working Knowledge of SEAD/DEAD Operations
  • Non-traditional ISR Knowledge
  • CTF/JTF Experience
