Job Description

Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Website Content Manager to join our team. The Website Content Manager is responsible for managing the content workflow, approvals, tagging, and CMS entry for guardian-well.com.Qualifications:

Role and Responsibilities

  • Project management of content updates in Welcome platform.
    • Review web requests that come in for updates across website.
    • Manage process of getting content created with writers.
    • Ensure consistency with tags and processes in Welcome.
  • Content updates in Contentful CMS.
    • Edit and create new pages for guardian-well.com.
    • Work with creative on image sourcing and resizing as needed.
    • Manage compliance submissions for guardian-well.com content.
    • Send previews to project requester.
    • Coordinate content across guardian-well.com and guardianlife.com.
  • Manage expiring content and broken links.
    • Review broken links report and correct issues.
    • Generate expiring content reports and manage updating them or sunsetting pages with page owners in Welcome.
    • Check analytics and provide recommendations on pages.
  • Content governance support
    • Content audit to categorize all pages and make a determination on next steps based on goals, data, usage, etc.
    • Manage content inventory.
  • Content planning support
    • Content calendaring for guardian-well.com
    • PowerPoint presentation creation for guardian-well.com strategy
    • Writing skills to support GuardianWell content

Skillset

  • 4+ years of work experience in web publishing and content marketing
  • Hands on experience with Contentful CMS or similar CMSes like Drupal or AEM
  • Keen eye for brand consistency
  • Project management and content operations experience
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Excellent verbal and email communications skills
  • Familiarity with Associated Press style of writing
  • Great organization skills, time-management, and effective communication
  • Great inter-personal skills and relationship building
  • Perform well under deadlines and be detail oriented
