As aNox Innovations Welder, you will demonstrate knowledge of MIG & TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel and aluminum material. You will also assist in and/or perform under supervision all aspects of fabrication and welding to support the construction industry. You will have mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and literacy skills to help complete projects and serve an integral role in NOX Innovation's success of boldly changing the construction industry.
Responsibilities
• Identify basic welding symbols and blueprint references, Instructional Manuals and understand specifications.
• Assemble prefabricated systems as directed by verbal instructions or blueprint reference.
• Bend pipe/conduit with hand benders.
• Operate threading equipment, and hydraulic benders as directed.
• Perform basic layouts from field sketches and blueprint reference.
• Understand and follow Job site directions, both written and verbal.
• Comprehend and abide by NOX Innovation/customer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other Prefabrication and project-related duties and assignments as instructed by Supervisor.
Qualifications
• Basic MIG experience, welding certificates not necessary.
• Experience with hand tools and/or power equipment.
• Safe operation of aerial and personnel lifts at heights.
• Operating company vehicles with manual or automatic transmission.
• Working in and around exposures typical of a heavy construction site such as heavy equipment, vehicular traffic, and extreme noise levels
• Lifting 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.
• Working from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and areas
• Previous experience completing a full day's assignments involving one or more of the following: bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
• Good hearing and vision, normal or corrected.
Education & Certifications
• High School Diploma
• Welding Certifications, preferred
