Qualifications • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience • Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions Schedule • Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Benefits • Compensation: Competitive wages, regular opportunities for merit increases, regular opportunities for overtime work, professional growth opportunities, and incentives for outstanding performance as a company Responsibilities • Responsible for welding and assembling structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, buildings and pipe • Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage and welding techniques • May be required to use GTAW and GMAW welding processes • Bolts, clamps, and weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plate, pipe and tube or structural shapes • May cut metal plates or structural shapes • Examines weld for bead size and other specifications • As a Fitter/Welder, you’ll lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches in preparation for welding • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required • Accurately measure within specified tolerances • Read blueprints • Must be able to pass a weld test as part of the interview process Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance Shift: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Work Location: In person
