Description

SAIC, a premier provider of advisory support services to critical customer missions, is seeking a systems engineer to support a range of technical functions for an important customer. The successful candidate must be a forward-leaning self-starter, capable of balancing multiple priorities while supporting ongoing projects and activities in a fast-paced organization. The candidate will provide input into organization-wide technical strategies in the mobile network domain. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to enable collaboration and engagement with various stakeholders. The candidate will work both strategically and tactically to help develop and execute the customer's technology and mission plans.

Qualifications

Required

  • You must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
  • 15+ years of experience with cellular networks to include network topology and components
  • Experience with cellular RF protocols to include 4G/LTE/LTE Advanced and 5G in a testing environment
  • Experience with test plan creation and execution related to cellular hardware and software
  • Understanding of cellular network concepts such as network slicing and SIP messaging

Desired

  • Experience and understanding of WiFi protocols
  • Experience configuring, managing and updating virtual machines
  • Experience with and understanding of PCAP analysis tools
  • Experience coding in languages such as Python, C/C++, Java
