Job Description
Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The Workday Analyst position will enable and support business solutions across Human Capital Management with responsibilities spanning across business enablement, solution design, technical architecture, integrations, conversions, and support.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Development team, and third-party vendors in an Agile environment to provide technical guidance to the team on business process configuration, security requirements, and integration designs, etc.
- Advise and assist third-party vendors or downstream systems integrating with HR solutions (Workday, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Possess proficient knowledge of key HR processes, especially with Workday Time & Attenance and/or Payroll and utilize the knowledge to provide robust technology solutions
- Provide functional and technical expertise in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business processes and applications
- Participate in new product reviews, tests, and pilots
- Conduct gap analysis and write / review / maintain functional and technical specifications for new or modified business processes
- Work with Product Owners to develop test strategy and author test plans as required for application releases
- Document system functions and cross functional processes
- Provide a system-wide architectural view of the functional and technology solutions that are built
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 3+ years of experience in the development and implementation of SaaS solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with configuration, development and support of Workday HCM, especially with Time & Absence and/or Payroll modules.
- Experience with creating functional and technical requirements, preferrable in Agile user story format.
- Experience with Workday integration technology including EIB, Workday Studio, RaaS, Connectors, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the overall technology supporting SaaS, including infrastructure & security requirements.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate over the phone and via email with a variety of individuals at all technical levels are required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience working in an Agile development environment preferred
- Familiarity with JIRA and scaled Agile.
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
- A Bachelor's Degree in Management Information System (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Computer Science (CS) is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience
- Master's degree (or equivalent) highly desired.
License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
- Certifications in Workday a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
- The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.
- Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
- Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone.
