ALLO is seeking an experienced and strategic Workday Systems Manager to lead the implementation, continuous enhancement, and support of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials (FIN) platforms. The ideal candidate will oversee both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Workday systems, working closely with business leaders, IT, and external vendors to ensure the platform meets evolving organizational needs. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, technical acumen, and business process knowledge across HR and Finance functions.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead the overall strategy and roadmap for Workday HCM and FIN systems to align with business objectives.

  • Act as a thought leader in identifying opportunities to leverage Workday functionalities to optimize HR and Finance operations.

  • Collaborate with senior management and business stakeholders to drive system enhancements, process improvements, and innovation in the platform.

  • Manage relationships with Workday, external consultants, and vendors to maximize system capabilities and support.

Implementation & Project Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of new Workday modules and functionalities, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful project execution within scope, budget, and timelines.

  • Drive system integrations between Workday and other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and manage risks associated with system changes and upgrades.

System Enhancements & Optimization:

  • Evaluate and implement new features released by Workday, ensuring they are optimized to meet the changing needs of the business.

  • Design, configure, and maintain business processes, workflows, reports, dashboards, and security within Workday for HCM and FIN.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reporting capabilities, and user experience.

Operational Support & Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide ongoing support for Workday HCM and FIN modules, resolving complex system issues, managing escalations, and driving problem resolution.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for system-related inquiries, updates, and troubleshooting, ensuring timely and effective communication with business partners.

  • Oversee the development of training materials and documentation for end users, facilitating a culture of self-service and system fluency across the organization.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Workday administrators and analysts, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Data Governance & Reporting:

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy within Workday, maintaining alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the design and development of complex reports and analytics to provide actionable insights to leadership on HR and Finance metrics.
     

EDUCATION:

  • B.S. or equivalent work experience is required.

  • Workday certifications a plus

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience managing a Workday tenant

  • Extensive knowledge of Workday HCM and/or Workday Finance operations

  • Understanding of the dependencies across Workday modules and integrations with other systems.

  • A critical thinker with a passion for organizing and problem-solving

  • A hands-on, detail-orientated leader who understands and embraces technology

  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

  • Must be adaptable and embrace change

  • Must be able to learn quickly and self-educate

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Remain stationary for extended periods

  • Ability to communicate information

  • Ability to operate a computer

  • Identify different colors

  • Possess/Maintain a valid Driver’s License

  • Travel requirement: 10%
