This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation to meet critical hiring needs to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience applying a knowledge of real estate principles, practices, techniques, and methodologies in land acquisition, management and/or disposal. 2) Experience in real estate activities to include negotiations, budgeting, leasing, property transfer alterations, space management, acquisition and disposal of federally-owned and/or leased property. 3) Experience coordinating with various stakeholders (e.g., other agencies, government, corporations, private property owners, and/or realtors) to execute real property management projects. 4) Experience in developing correspondences and briefing material for briefings to executive leaders. 5) Experience conducting real property surveys, inspections, and/or reviews for quality control and quality assurance of key real property management and financial data elements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
