Summary
About the Position: Performs a variety of miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, which provide continuity and efficiency of administrative office operations and procedures. Proceeds independently to plan and carry out assignments to include obtaining and presenting data and advice necessary for the proper functioning and management of the organization.

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Perform a wide variety of administrative assignments of an office environment; 2. Building products, such as graphs and spreadsheets, with software tools; 3. Utilizing an automated timekeeping system for an organization, such as ATAAPS; and 4. Provide automation and technical assistance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
