Summary
This vacancy is for an Ordnance er, WG-6641-5, located in the Office of Naval Engineering, Electro Shop, U.S. Coast Guard, Baltimore, MD.

Key Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation.
This position requires a Secret clearance.
This a Bargaining Unit position.
Selectee subject to successful completion of pre-employment medical exam.
Drug and alcohol test is required.

Specialized experience must include the following:
Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (Screen-out Element)
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic).
Use of Measuring Instruments.
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc.. (includes blueprints reading)
Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Trouble shooting.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
