3D Art QA Analyst

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated person to join our team as a 3D Art QA Analyst. The Art QA Analyst is the gatekeeper between the production and the client, ensuring that the quality expectations are met and contributing to the optimal performance capacity of the art team.

As a 3D Art QA Analyst, you will:

• Review and verify 3D assets to ensure compliance with technical specifications and artistic integrity.
• Conduct visual inspections of 3D models, textures, and animations to identify discrepancies or defects.
• Collaborate with the art team, particularly Tech Art, to understand project requirements and ensure assets meet quality standards.
• Utilize specialized software tools for asset validation, ensuring compatibility across various platforms and devices.
• Provide detailed feedback and reports to the art team and project managers, highlighting quality issues and suggesting improvements.
• Develop and refine QA checklists and procedures to optimize the art QA workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation, Game Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role in a 3D art environment.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, and animation principles.
• Proficiency in 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or similar.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in documenting issues and workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Would also be nice to have:

• Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python or MEL.
• Previous experience in game development is a plus.
