Summary
This position is located at Hilltop Riding Stable of the Fort Gordon Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation. (Position may also be selected for other locations within the Recreation Operations Division.)

Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15m, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.
Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40-75 pounds.
Required to follow safety procedures and use standard safety equipment such as gloves and safety glasses to avoid possible hazards in the work area.

May be exposed to weather conditions when working outdoors.

Qualifications
Must be able to ride, saddle and handle horses. Must be ability to follow instructions to clean and condition riding supplies and equipment. Must be able to operate a lawnmower, use rakes and similar tools and equipment. Must have a valid state driver's license to operate vehicle.

PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
