The screen out element for this position is the ability to perform the work of a Laborer without more than normal supervision. This may include: operating large lawn mowers that have multiple or independently controlled cutting decks; perform general cleaning tasks to include stripping and waxing, high dusting, mopping, recycling, trash removal, power washing facilities, and vehicles; remove and set signs, paints picnic tables and signs, rakes and waters lawns, weeds, trims trees and shrubbery, picks up litter, and cleans fire pits. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
