Summary About the position: This position is located at Macaroni Grill in Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This position may be eligible for Logistical Support. Assists in a Business Operations Restaurant (Food & Beverage) to ensure the quality of the product, guest service, and hospitality. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that business rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Responsible for issue, receipt, and control of cash. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. Incumbent must be physically in Germany before a firm/final job offer can be received. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. This position may require the incumbent to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifying Experience: Experience which provides knowledge of multiple areas within food & beverage operations. Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as; receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods. Experience with operating computers and associated software is desirable. Must have experience with coaching others and giving direction. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to read and write English. Ability to work in hot and noisy working conditions. Must work flexible schedules to include weekends, nights, and holidays. Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport various objects up to 50lbs. Must stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7 to 8 hours per shift).
