Custodial Worker

Summary This position will be assigned to HUB on Peterson Space Force Base. The work involves continually standing, bending, stooping, and reaching; frequently lifting and emptying wastebaskets; occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds. Must be able to follow simple oral and written instructions and use of hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools or equipment. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment physical. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position and therefore, there are no minimum qualifications required. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
