Summary This position is located at Gecko Lanes Bowling Center, Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB), Guam. The mission of Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Warfighter & Family Readiness (WFR) is to provide the highest quality programs and services to the military community through self-sustainment across all quality of life programs. Knowledge of basic food handling techniques. Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the basic rules and requirements of bowling. Knowledge of the activities and assigned area of responsibility. Knowledge of cash handling procedures. Knowledge of basic arithmetic. Knowledge of sanitation requirements for the assigned area of responsibility. Ability to read and understand written material. Ability to work tactfully and be courteous of others. Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing. Ability to perform routine housekeeping tasks. Ability to present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times. Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to notify manager on duty Work requires walking, carrying, lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, standing, stooping and bending. Irregular working hours may be required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays when the need arises. Must meet state minimum age requirements to sell alcohol. Must be C.A.R.E (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively) trained, hold CPR/First Aid/AED certification and hold a current Food Handler certification, upon being placed in the position OR be able to obtain these trainings/certifications within 90 days of being placed in the position. This position is not telework eligible. Subject to satisfactory completion of background checks. Education *SEE QUALIFICATIONS Additional information Some positions have special requirements.
