Summary This is a Regular Full-Time category position located at the Auto Hobby and Arts and Crafts Shop, 423d Force Support Squadron, RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. It offers 35 guaranteed hours per week, although the incumbent may be required to work up to 40 hours per week, as needed. The regular and recurring number of hours to be worked each week will average 35-40 hours. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position requires the incumbent to have and maintain a current, valid state driver's license, and be able to obtain a USAFE driving permit. This position requires a pre-employment drug test and the incumbent is subject to random drug testing thereafter. This position requires a pre-employment physical exam. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. This position requires the incumbent to have specific experience overseeing an Auto Hobby type activity and /or experience in the operation of an Arts and Crafts type activity Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone*. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience (MUST BE SUPPORTED IN YOUR RESUME): Must have experience performing the following duties: Managing a business activity, to include planning activities, supervising and training employees, formulating budgets, maintaining inventory, supplies, and retail items, marketing events, and providing excellent customer service, with spacific experience overseeing an AH type activity and/or experience in the operation of an A&C type activity with similar operations and functions to above and directing the work of others to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
