Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level, you must meet the following criteria:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the Federal service. Specialized experience is administrative experience that included all or most of the following: personnel management functions such as recruitment activities, position management, and disciplinary actions; managing the administrative functions and coordinating workload in a healthcare environment; ensuring program compliance with policy and regulations; performing quality reviews of processes and procedures; developing and implementing process improvement initiatives; managing long-term and short-term projects; following-up on action items to ensure timely and accurate completion; conducting organizational studies and evaluations, procedures, and preparing procedural manuals; preparing correspondence in final form; coordinating all aspects of events/meetings/conferences; gathering and organizing information; preparing documents and presenting information at events/meetings/conferences; and managing intranet/SharePoint sites. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week -OR-
EDUCATION: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Transcripts must be submitted with application. Education cannot be credited without documentation. -OR-
COMBINATION: An equivalent combination of specialized experience as described above and successfully completed education beyond the master's level. Transcripts must be submitted with application. Education cannot be credited without documentation.

IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary, requiring some standing, bending, walking and carrying of light items.
