Summary

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
You must meet the qualifications and be certified to carry a firearm. You will need to maintain firearm proficiency.
Work regularly includes assignment to rotating shift, including weekends and holidays.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and be able to maintain a U.S. Government emergency vehicle operator's license.
Incumbent must be a le to read, write and speak English.
Must be 18 years of age.
The position Is covered by 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position.
This Is a Department f Navy Drug Testing Designated Position (TOP). Required to undergo pre employment urinal Is requirements and sustainment drug testing.
Incumbent must complete the MCESS training as provided by the physical security section.
Incumbent must be a le to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Following certifications must be acquired within the first year of employment and maintained continuously without lapse throughout employment: First Aid, CPF, EMO Protocols and Certification.
This Is a mission essential position.
Overtime may be required.
Incumbent must satisfactorily pass the Police Applicant Suitability Review (PASR) investigation.
Failure to meet conditions of employment may result In disciplinary action or termination.
Qualifications
GS-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience independently monitoring closed circuit television (CCTV) screens trained on sensitive areas/critical assets and monitoring electronic security systems, in addition to receiving, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming calls for service and up-dating information to be relayed to responding medical, police and fire personnel.
GS-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assist in monitoring electronic security systems and closed circuit television (CCTV) in addition to communicating with emergency personnel for appropriate response.

Additional information
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
Several vacancies may be filled.
