Afterhours Logistic Analyst - NightShift

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Afterhours Logistic Analyst - NightShift.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Afterhours logistics operations for ground, air, ocean, and other modes of transportation (hand carrier, charters, etc.) within the US, Mexico and around the world, ensure on time deliveries from our vendors to our 4 locations in SLP and to our customers at the highest quality service and cost, in compliance with Eaton Corporation SCM policy and Mexican regulations.

Responsible for carrier management, transportation utilization and cost optimization, in addition to managing new projects for SLP plant, following up shipment quotation and tracking to comply with projects lead times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Schedule, quote and track Ground, Ocean & Air shipments, hand carriers, charters trough AOD, TMS or forwarder platform to secure OTD according to plant impact, foreseeing operational risks with proper communication to internal customers.
B. Schedule, quote and track domestic shipments to customers and suppliers. To manage customer shipments avoiding production line stoppages. Seeking improvements in the profitability of local and national routes.
C. Create daily and weekly dispatch reports according to container and air freight arrivals to provide customs clearance schedule for GTM, planning and receiving, in addition to ETA/delivery schedule according to plant capacity.
D. New projects shipments follow up, quotations, costs efficiency and shipment delivery on time according to project schedule. Daily and weekly meetings, providing status and best logistics solutions to divisional & local project teams, securing project shipment & cost report updated.
E. Contributing to Cost Out Projects
F. Claims Follow Up and recoveries from lost, damaged, or missing material.
G. Operational follow up and punctual feedback to carrier suppliers (UBER 4PL, ALA, ASCORP, EGOBA, PG, ROMA, COMPASS), pick-ups and deliveries on time and reports accuracy.
H. Control and report operations KPI's.
I. Carriers KPI's, performance & action tracker
J. QBR: Quarterly reviews ALA, EGOBA, ASCORP, UBER, ROMA, PG.
K. Powerful feedback with GTM, Planning and Receiving department, develop strategy for operations.
L. Maintain the SGC updated
M. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area.
N. Promotes the company's mission by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.

Qualifications:

A. Degree qualification in foreign trade, international business, logistics or related discipline
B. Minimum 2 years in Logistics or in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred (IMMEX)
C. English
D. Must be proactive and results oriented.
E. Proficiency in logistics flows and costs efficiency.
F. Knowledge on C-TPAT- OEA programs is a plus
G. Working Knowledge of MRP / ERP system as a plus
