To support our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedFinancial Bookkeeper / Controllerto manage and maintain accurate financial records across all locations.
Position Overview:
The Financial Bookkeeper / controller plays a key role in supporting the financial health of our practice by maintaining accurate accounting records, overseeing financial transactions, and supporting the management team with timely reporting and insights. This role collaborates closely with the Operations and Executive teams to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Financial Oversight
β’ Record all financial transactions, including income, expenses, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations.
β’ Process invoices, track accounts payable and receivable, and manage vendor communications.
β’ Reconcile daily deposits, collections, and production reports from each office location.
Monthly & Quarterly Accounting
β’ Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
β’ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
β’ Coordinate with external CPA or accounting firm for quarterly reviews and year-end processes.
Compliance & Recordkeeping
β’ Maintain accurate records in line with dental, HIPAA, and accounting compliance requirements.
β’ Monitor internal controls and propose improvements to increase financial accuracy and efficiency.
β’ Support audit processes with organized documentation and clear reporting.
Collaboration & Communication
β’ Work with Office Managers and the Regional Manager to align financial practices with operational goals.
β’ Respond to inquiries from leadership regarding financial matters.
β’ Train team members on financial protocols where appropriate.
Position Requirements:
β’ Experience:3+ years in bookkeeping or financial management, preferably in a healthcare or multi-location environment.
β’ Software Skills:Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel, and cloud-based reporting tools.
β’ Detail-Oriented:Strong analytical skills and attention to accuracy.
β’ Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Organizational:Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
β’ Confidentiality:Maintains discretion with sensitive financial data.
