This exempt level position reporting to the Regional Director will have overall administrative and supervisory responsibility, case management coordination, and oversight for the 24/7 operations of one or two 962/853 residential homes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: β€’ Responsible for ensuring that any suspicion of or knowledge of suspected abuse is reported in accordance with the law and program policies. "Mandated Reporter" (SOC 341) β€’ Coordination of SB 962/853 program with Regional Center and DDS β€’ Maintain a safe, sanitary and therapeutic environment for all individuals served β€’ Ensures that the health care plan is implemented β€’ Ensures that self and staff adhere to all Elwyn California Policies and Procedures, standards of care and complies with all regulatory requirements β€’ Hiring, staffing, evaluating of employees β€’ Training of staff β€’ Coordinates ancillary services such as PT, OT, etc. β€’ Budgeting β€’ Survey compliance and writing and implementing plans of correction β€’ Vendor selection, purchasing β€’ Program planning and case management β€’ Maintains communication with Executive Director, families, regional center, etc. β€’ Has on call responsibility EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: β€’ Successful experience in administering licensed residential services to people with developmental disabilities for at least one year, as evidenced by substantial compliance with the applicable state and federal licensing requirements β€’ Qualified applicants shall meet one or more of the following qualifications: β€’ An individual with a bachelor's degree in the health or human services field and two years experience working in a licensed residential program for persons with developmental disabilities and special health care needs. β€’ A licensed psychiatric technician with at least five years of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities; β€’ A licensed nursing home administrator; β€’ A licensed registered nurse; β€’ Complete 35-hour administrator certification program β€’ Ability to complete all trainings as required by applicable regulations, including, but not limited to, DSP1 and DSP2, Regional Center residential service orientation. β€’ Must hold valid (current within one year of date of hire) or else complete a DOJ and FBI fingerprint and criminal clearance and a health screening including a TB test. β€’ Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership skills. β€’ Computer skills required. β€’ Must possess a current, valid driver's license in state of residence, have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience within the United States, and have an acceptable driving record.Pay Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $124,000.00 /Yr.
