EXAMPLE OF DUTIES As a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, you will provide treatment to residents at the Delaware Valley Veterans’ Home. This includes providing medical diagnoses or prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of a licensed physician. Your duties will include developing individualized health profiles, assessing findings to perform physical examinations, and analyzing clinical laboratory data and diagnostic tests. In this position, you will order diagnostic studies, as well as develop and evaluate primary medical treatment plans. You can expect to implement therapeutic procedures and perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and casting. Additionally, you will provide on-call general medical practitioner coverage for residents during evening, weekend, and holiday hours or on an emergency basis according to the Commandant’s direction.Interested in learning more?
