Job Overview
The leader for the TE Operation's Advantage (TEOA) program is an exciting full time role that will give the ideal candidate a fantastic opportunity to create positive change within TE's established Manufacturing facility in Swindon producing a range of different products. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager at site and dotted line with the TEOA EMEA Regional manager. The job is 100% office based with high portion of it in the Gemba.
Responsibilities
The TEOA/LEAN leader will collaborate and coach cross functional teams to, primarily, lead the execution of the TEOA strategy transformational program (TEOA Star Level progression). The perfect candidate will be a Lean expert (Problem Solving, VSM, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, 3P, SPS, Standard work, Visual management, Quality foundations, Hoshin Kanri etc.) and will model people behaviours to develop the talent and create the right continuous improvement culture.

- The TEOA/LEAN leader will set the strategy and plan for the achievement of full transformational program. Also, the candidate will be accountable for following up the actions and to drive sustainable execution of strategy.
- Collaborate and drive the behaviours and values throughout the plant required to deliver the overall strategy, whilst working with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Foster the adoption of continuous improvement as a way of life. Develop and coach the talent to stablish the Lean culture in the plant across all organisation levels, areas, and departments.
- Responsible for leading, guiding and supporting the transformation with Continuous Improvement activities.
- Act as a coach and mentor for all employees and facilitate training to accelerate knowledge of Lean practices across all functions and levels of the organization.
- Provide demonstratable benefits to overall Operational Productivity through facilitation of Kaizen events and improvements of processes, products, and/or behaviours, and drive sustaining of changes.
- The TEOA/LEAN leader will regularly report out progress and ensure full alignment with ADM BU region practices and corporate initiatives.
- Monthly monitoring and reporting of TEOA metrics in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) tool.
- Identification and organisation of resources in order to achieve consistency and standardisation across the plant.

- Solid experience in Operations, Manufacturing or Engineering with Project Management skills being advantageous.
- Proven background in implementing Lean practices and facilitating Kaizen events in, preferably," high-mix-low volume" manufacturing environments.
- Lean, 6Sigma, Shaining/Red X or similar qualifications.
- Analytically, data driven problem solving mindset for effective decision making. Ability to understand statistical and graphical data.
- SAP, PowerBi, Microsoft 365.
- 5 GCSE's including Maths and English at Grade 7 or equivalent experience.
