Job Description
We are looking for a Delivery Director with a strong software engineering background to become part of our team in Belgium.
In this role, you will lead our delivery and ensure the successful execution of projects and services. If you have a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or related field, combined with significant experience in end-to-end delivery management, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple teams of professionals (100+), including engineers, designers, analysts and project managers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders, ensuring all deliverables and services meet the highest standards of quality
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, managing client expectations and communications
- Manage the delivery process, including requirements, risks and budget
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide regular project updates to executive leadership through structured reporting and metrics
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements) to maintain high-quality software delivery

- Ability to travel across Belgium and work at client offices 1-2 days/week, including Waregem
- Strong understanding of pre-sales and commercial discussions
- Strong understanding of different contract and engagement models
- Extensive experience with client management, especially in retail or e-commerce sectors
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing large teams and large-scale projects in the IT and software development industry
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle high stress situations and multiple priorities with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field
- Dutch language is a strong advantage
- Experience in managing multi-vendor setups and global teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in a service delivery context
- Creative thinking and ability to approach problems from multiple angles
