Drywaller

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, along with a variety of construction skills. As a Drywaller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that interior spaces are completed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality of our projects. Responsibilities • Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications. • Cut and shape drywall to fit around doors, windows, and other fixtures. • Tape and finish joints between drywall sheets using joint compound for a smooth finish. • Perform caulking around edges and seams to ensure a clean appearance. • Hang doors and install fixtures as needed during the finishing process. • Assist with remodeling projects by building out walls or creating new spaces. • Conduct trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished areas. • Frame metal studs for wall structures as required by project specifications. • Utilize airless paint spraying techniques for efficient finishing of surfaces. • Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety protocols. Skills • Proficient in caulking, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling techniques. • Strong ability in trim carpentry and framing with metal studs. • Experience with airless paint spraying equipment is a plus. • Knowledgeable about construction site safety practices and procedures. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. • In addition, hauling and disposing of job related material as needed.
