DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Assists in monitoring materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; maintains and supports documentation and records. Works under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality). Records results and prepare simple technical reports. Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment.

Quality Process Management - Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure quality of products, processes and services.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Minimal or no work experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the job experience.

Interviews will be scheduled once bidders are received.

Will require to work with CQMS, Windchill, PMT, MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PPT, ...), etc. in managing customer complaints, supplier issues, analysis & report writing and shop floor production issues.

Key focus for this role includes MNC/SCRA/PPAPs, project work, quality alerts, MRB (scrap), control plan, audit (Level 2, Pic walks, LPS, etc.), Red rabbits, Master & Reference parts, Process capabilities and SPC monitoring.

Will be responsible for maintaining quality across all value streams during 3rd shift.

Some overtime may be needed to support any production needs and/or customer issues.
