Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on various construction sites, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is completed to code and meets industry standards. Responsibilities • Perform onsite electrical work as directed. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. • Install lighting and receptacle circuity in existing structures, as well as in new additions. • Repair general lighting and power circuits as well as miscellaneous electrical devices. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and wiring as required. • Must have a basic understanding of safety practices, state and local electrical codes, electrical circuits, motors, switches and switching gear. • Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. • Maintain accurate log of completed work each day. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • At least 2 years experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential setting. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. • Valid journeyman license is preferred • Valid driver's license • High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and scaffolding. • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time. • Must be able to climb and work- off ladders. • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in any weather/temperature condition. Benefits: • Full Time • Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment. • Simple IRA available after 1 year of employment. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Friday. Weekends and overtime as needed. Occasional out-of-area and overnight travel is to be expected.
