Journeymen Electrician

Overview This job will be located in Round Rock, Texas. We are seeking a skilled and motivated journeyman electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in various electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a journeyman, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet industry standards and comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial environments. • Execute frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. • Work with low-voltage and high-voltage systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. • Utilize tools such as voltmeters to test electrical systems and diagnose problems. • Collaborate with team members to build efficient electrical solutions that meet project specifications. • Bend conduit, pull wire, terminations, etc. • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Requirements • Proven experience as a journeyman or in a similar role within the electrical field. • Work off ladders and lifts • Must pass a background and drug screen. • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is essential. • Contract to hire. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
