In-state travel typically from Mondays through Thursdays would be required. A few of your specific main responsibilities would include: Maintain, test, repair and troubleshoot complex, medium and high voltage electrical and electronic systems. Safely perform lockout / tagout procedures. Maintain, test, repair and calibrate protective relaying equipment including current, voltage, differential, timing, auxiliary, ground detection and complex impedance relays of electro-mechanical solid state, and microprocessor types. Proficiently use specialized computer controlled electrical test instruments including Partial Discharge, power factor, megger, motor analyzer and other test equipment associated with predictive and preventive maintenance of large rotating, synchronous motors and generators. Maintain, test, and repair utility scale substation equipment including breakers, regulators, capacitors, reactors, and power transformers. Check, revise and update electrical schematics, drawing and diagrams as required. About the QualificationsHaving completed a state or federal certified electrical apprenticeship, OR possessing the equivalent combination of education, related experience and demonstrated ability; PLUS at least three (3) years of journeyman-level work experience in an industrial electrical environment with technical and specialized knowledge is required to be successful in this position. Also, a valid driver's license, good driving record, and a high school diploma (or GED) are required.Please note: Physical testing, functional testing, and drug screening will apply.
