Job Description
U.S. Got People is an AAP/EEO employer, seeking to hire an EMT, Paramedic to work on a federal contract at Hurlburt Field in Florida for a long term federal contract. This is a great opportunity to work with active duty and former service members and to be a part of the
critical missions at this facility. You must meet all of the qualifications listed below and be available to begin work on ASAP.
Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited EMT-paramedic (EMT-P) certification
- A current, valid paramedic license and certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), license must remain current throughout contract performance (para 2).
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- One (1) year of full-time experience within the last two (2) years as a
- Knowledge of current hospital and pre-hospital protocols in order to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care of patients in clinical and pre-clinical
- The EMT-P will be required to assist with patient care within the ACU when not performing emergency response or transport
- Knowledge and skill in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced life saving
measures used to initiate resuscitation measures when necessary and assist unit in providing support measure.

These positions qualifies for the SCA (Service Contract Act) which allows for an additional
$4.27/hour in fringe benefits for each hour that you work.
These benefits (up to $8,881.60 a year) will go into your account to be used for your voluntary elections. Remaining benefits are deposited into your 401k plan.
Also, this position qualifies for the Non-Displacement Act which ensures that you are not displaced and have first right of refusal for this position should USGP loose the contract for any reason in the future.

Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics (EMT-P):
EMT-P to support treatment in a field/pre-clinical/clinical setting, ambulance emergency response, in-flight emergency response, non-in-flight emergency response, transfer and transport services for active duty military personnel, their dependents, retirees, their dependents and other eligible beneficiaries, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The EMT-P shall be required to assist with patient care within an established Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) when not performing emergency response or transport services.
EMT-P shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility. crashes. They will be exposed to very loud noise levels.
