Enterprise Solutions Engineer

Job Summary: The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will utilize their expert level experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Domain and Security Architectures for on-premise hosting, as well as cloud integrations. The solutions engineer is responsible for working with the NOC, SOC and Server administration teams to develop requirements driven solutions for both the corporate enterprise, as well as customer focused software development enclaves. Primary responsibilities are enterprise systems designs, definitions, documentation, and implementations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Demonstrated innovative design, planning and implementation experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016+, Windows Server 2019+ and Active Directory, as well as other solutions such as mobility solutions for real-time collaboration.
• Expert level experience with Microsoft Active Directory core services (AD DS, Kerberos, ADFS, Schema, GPOs, PKI and Azure Co-existence)
• Expert level understanding of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization concepts, including the networking.
• Implementation, troubleshooting and monitoring experience with on-premise Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint
• Experience with locking down a complex Microsoft Server/Service environments using officially recognized lockdown standards and procedures.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Python
• Working experience with Ansible automation
• Ability to design, build, test and deploy servers based on predefined constraints and adherence to federal regulations.
• Provide expertise in Microsoft Office 365 architectural design, development, implementation, and management, as well as to provide guidance on the performance impact of the architecture.
• Responsible for aligning Office 365 technology solutions with business strategies in compliance with DFARs and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform technical oversight of implementation projects to assure alignment with architecture and Technology standards and develop future strategies for Office 365 products and services.
• Strong customer service skills are a must.

Required Skills:

• An expert level understanding of Microsoft infrastructure architectures
• Extensive MS Azure integration and maintenance experience
• One or more relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, Sec+, Net+
• Thorough understanding of network concepts and open systems interconnection and its implementations in an enterprise
• Experience with IDS/IPS & SIEM
• Experience with internal and external DNS
• Experience with IP Address Management (IPAM)
• Experience with systems hardening of Microsoft Operating Systems and Software
• Planning and organizational skills in server design, deployment and execution
• Flexible and adaptable when priorities shift due to changing situations, ability to manage time accordingly.
• Must be able to work some weekends and nights.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's in computer science or related field (6 years' experience in lieu of degree)
• 4+ years of experience in a complex heterogeneous network environment/s
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with MS Windows administration
• 2+ years of infrastructure design
