EXPERIENCED MARKETING MANAGER (1-year Track to DIRECTOR)

COMPANY OVERVIEW: We are a proven $50 Million California home improvement company that separates itself from the rest of the industry with a higher standard of product quality, value and customer service developed through our superior marketing campaigns. POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive our continued success while overseeing the development and delivery of a fully-integrated $1.5M+ marketing budget for our company. The Marketing Manager manages a team of 2-3 people while participating in the marketing process from research and planning to execution and analysis onsite at our headquarters in San Jose. This position has the opportunity for a promotion to our Marketing Director position within 1 year for the right candidate who demonstrates consistent success and leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain successful existing marketing campaigns while researching and developing new sources • Successfully manage a marketing team of up to 4 staff, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines • Lead in the execution and organization of the day to day responsibilities of the Marketing department while delegating efficiently and effectively • Develop and manage monthly and annual $1.5M+ budget, monitoring costs, receipts and ROI • Continue to develop innovative advertising, public relations, digital and social media campaigns • Learn, master and ensure the integrity of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system • Successfully help to oversee and manage multiple annual company events • Analyze the performance of the Marketing team for corrective action and hold the team accountable • Must be able to make tough decisions and follow through as needed • Learn and implement our SOPs and revise as necessary • Design training and knowledge base applicable to written and digital marketing REQUIREMENTS: • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field with at least 10 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager • Extensive, proven, successful Sales and/or Sales Promotion experience is a must • Excellent attention to detail, including proofing and editing skills • Organized and proactive with consistent follow through • Proven leadership skills to manage, motivate and develop our marketing staff on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills • Insightful and creative with superior presentation skills • Expertise with Microsoft (including Excel), Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Instagram • Previous industry and expansion experience is a plus COMPENSATION: • $125,000 - $149,000+ including salary, overrides and bonuses, based on departmental success • An opportunity for advancement to the Director position within 1 year with demonstration of consistent achievement of budgets, success and leadership • Benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and 401K contribution The candidate must be a Bay Area resident, preferably the South Bay. This position is onsite at our San Jose headquarters. No telecommuting.
