Field Project Manager (2 yrs exp) - San Diego Job Type: Full-time Salary: $70,000/year (includes company vehicle) Job Location: San Diego area JOB SUMMARY: The IWU Project Manager is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and ensuring the accurate and timely performance of IWU’s Navy contract in San Diego, CA. Duties/Responsibilities: • Act as primary point of contact for government contract representatives (military and civilian) • Accurately prepare/review documents for each task order • Create accurate and compliant Hazardous Waste manifests, labels, and other shipping documents in accordance with state and federal regulations • Coordinate with IWU drivers and technicians to ensure proper segregation and handling of hazardous waste containers as per contract and regulatory requirements • Assist in the loading of hazardous waste containers in truck/van trailer • Label/placard hazardous waste containers • Business use of Company truck equipped with all necessary tools, supplies, and PPE needed to perform the contract Required Skills/Abilities: • High school diploma/GED • Satisfactory understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, DOT, OSHA, Cal-OSHA and other relevant environmental and safety regulations • Ability to open/close containers/drums and pull samples for testing • Efficient time management skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in MS Office Education/License/Experience: • Valid California Driver License with Real ID • Must be able to obtain security clearance to access federal military bases • Must pass E-Verify check and have I-9 documentation (eligible to work in the U.S.) Physical Requirements: • Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs • May involve standing for extended periods of time • Outside work in various weather conditions BENEFITS:(after 60-day probationary period) • 100% PAID Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance • Sick Pay • Vacation and Holiday Pay • Weekly Pay Periods; Check or Direct Deposit • 401K • Paid Training Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • This position requires working outdoors.
