What You Will Do:
The position is for an onsite Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, testing products, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality control, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other functions. This role will support the Receiving Inspection team located ONSITE at Princeton, NJ .

What You Will Do:
- Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Interpret and adhere to quality standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meeting.
- Assist in developing and updating inspection plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques.
- Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Experience with using a microscope.
- Experience working with optical components (lens, windows, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- The role may require working with a microscope for extended periods and handling small, delicate components.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
