The Project Lead will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with assigned K–12 accounts by leveraging our comprehensive service solutions and educational technology products. This role focuses on customer retention by delivering value through proactive communication, on-site support, and effective solution deployment.
Key responsibilities include building strong partnerships with school administrators and staff, aligning their needs with our offerings, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Project Lead will also collaborate closely with the sales team and internal cross-functional departments to deliver outstanding service and support.
This position requires a very high percentageof working time to be spent on-siteat school campuses across the state of Texas (San Antonio/Austin/Round Rock/Corpus Christi/Comal), depending on the account assignment.Travel throughout the state is essential to the nature of this role. Applicants must be able to meet these travel requirements to be considered.If you do not wish to travel for project needs, please do not apply for this role.
Essential Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for assigned project, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and reinforcing the company’s brand value.
• Manage the full project pipeline lifecycle, including quoting, order processing, and execution in coordination with internal support teams.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with school district stakeholders and procurement departments to streamline purchasing processes.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide accurate product recommendations and quotes, with a strong working knowledge of educational technology solutions (e.g., Chromebooks, laptops, PCs, interactive panels, and AV systems).
• Participate in project planning and sales meetings to coordinate cross-functional support for prospective and ongoing opportunities.
• Manage service tickets for assigned accounts and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee and support project administration and implementation teams, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project execution.
• Provide ongoing technical support and monitor customer account activity, including equipment usage and inventory movement.
• Collaborate with sales, management, and service/deployment teams to identify and resolve project-related issues efficiently.
• Liaise with manufacturers to obtain technical support and coordinate end-user training when needed.
• Track project progress and communicate status updates through daily or weekly reports to sales and account management teams.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries or complaints, aiming to resolve issues and maintain positive client relationships.
• Foster strong team morale by supporting team members, encouraging collaboration, and driving project success.
• Train project coordinators, service leads, and project group members to ensure consistent execution and knowledge sharing.
• Attend industry conventions and trade shows; assist with booth sales, space acquisition, setup, and teardown as needed.
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with all stakeholders—internal teams, suppliers, and customers—to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
