PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: · Conduct accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for landscape projects, ensuring efficient use of resources. · Review and approve construction plans, ensuring they are complete, feasible, and compliant with codes. · Coordinate with design teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution. · Lead project approval submissions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. · Manage construction teams, labor, and subcontractors to ensure projects are on budget, on schedule, and of high quality. · Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and resolving any issues. · Oversee labor, equipment dispatch, and resource utilization to maintain project flow and quality standards. · Monitor and report on daily and weekly project progress, ensuring all work aligns with specifications. · Manage labor force & subcontractors to ensure labor budgets are on track · Maintain accurate daily and weekly Foremen and Superintendent activity logs, updating production tracking reports CAPABILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIES: · In-depth knowledge of construction techniques and materials, especially in masonry, pools, hardscape, soft-scape and woodwork. · Able to instruct and oversee the production of sections, construction details that clearly communicate how the project is to be built. · Familiarity with local and national building codes and compliance requirements. · Strong communication and project management skills. • Strong project scheduling and coordination skills. • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in construction management and project management. • Excellence in customer service. · Knowledgeable in landscape, masonry, pavers, and demo is a plus · Bi-lingual Spanish would be helpful EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: · 5-10 years of experience in construction.
