Lead Flutter Developer

We are in search of an expert Lead Flutter Developer to be a fundamental part of our engineering team.
The chosen candidate will be critical in establishing the architectural foundations and guiding the development of our innovative software product. This role emphasizes technical prowess and strong leadership, coupled with strict adherence to the Pivotal Labs framework to foster a collaborative, iterative, and user-centered design process.

Responsibilities

• Create a cross-platform Flutter application, guaranteeing high performance, scalability, and security across various platforms, including web, mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Architect and manage a microservices structure on Google Cloud Platform to improve interservice communications through REST and event-based messaging
• Produce resilient backend services using Java and the Spring Boot framework, emphasizing clean, test-driven, and maintainable code
• Devise effective data strategies by integrating Redis for caching alongside ElasticSearch and Postgres for data storage and querying
• Utilize Jenkins proficiently for continuous integration and deployment, adhering to top CI/CD practices
• Promote the use of Agile methodologies within the engineering team to enhance continuous improvement and innovation
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to create technical specifications, prioritize product features, and guide the product's strategic direction
• Tailor development strategies to meet user needs and business objectives, ensuring the end product connects with target audiences

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in successful application launches
• Proven record of leading and mentoring an engineering team
• Solid expertise in Flutter and a thorough understanding of developing universal applications
• Proficiency in using Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management
• Background in leading Agile teams and implementing Agile frameworks, with a preference for experience in Pivotal Labs
• Demonstrated leadership skills coupled with strong problem-solving and communication abilities

Nice to have

• Background in Angular for possible web application development
• Familiarity with operating environments on Google Cloud Platform
• Flexibility to work with event-based messaging for interservice communications
• Understanding of REST in the context of microservices architecture
