Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and work effectively on commercial projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety practices, as well as proficiency in using various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems, including logic controllers and circuit breakers.
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations and safety standards on construction sites.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Familiar with solar and generator installation
• Capacity to mentor an apprentice
• Proficiency in customer connections and communication
Requirements
• Licensed
• clean driving record
• clean background check
• fluent in English
Experience
• 4 year minimum Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Experience working in a residential setting is required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
