Marketing Manager (Full-Time) - Property Management Company

Job Summary The Marketing Manager oversees marketing efforts for all vacant homes in the Valor portfolio, including but not limited to website content, lead tracking, coordination with third-party marketing partners such as Zillow.com and Apartments.com, ad content including verbiage and visual media, social media presence, and reputation management, ensuring accuracy and attractiveness for best sales results at each of our properties. Essential Job Functions - Position Requirements · Continuously monitor industry trends and market conditions · Design a marketing strategy tailored to the needs and budget of each property in the company portfolio that maximizes advertising exposure for each vacancy and minimizes time on market · Audit each property for consistency, accuracy, and attractiveness across all advertising platforms and physical signage, including telephone numbers, email addresses, and methods of contact · Vacancy Listings: o Audit each portfolio listing for accuracy, attractiveness, appropriate keywords, and compelling presentation o Generate accurate and compelling sales text for each vacant listing o Ensure each listing contains accurate and compelling photos, videos, 3-D walkthroughs, and floorplans. Take new photos and videos when required; work with outside providers as needed to create visual content · 3rd Party Marketing Partners: o Track online presence of each advertised vacancy o Coordinate with advertising partners such as Apartments.com, Zillow.com, and others to ensure proper display and positioning for each ad · Lead tracking: o Track online lead generation from all online ad sources o Track leasing agent response to lead traffic, assist as needed · Website Content: o Ensure accurate and attractive online presence for the company and larger properties o Track visitor traffic and keywords o Work to maximize SEO o Work with outside providers to create visual content such as amenity photos, drone photography, videos, 3-D walkthroughs, and floorplans. · Social media Content: o Generate social media ads and content to enhance and promote marketing efforts · Reputation Management: o Create a company-wide reputation management strategy to encourage positive reviews at both the corporate level as well as each of the sites o Respond to all reviews appropriately, working with team members as needed to demonstrate proper resolution of any complaints Qualifications · Extensive experience and knowledge in online marketing. A bachelor's degree in marketing is a plus · Experience in residential or commercial property management · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills · Knowledge of AppFolio Management Software is a plus · Permission to work in the United States · Valid driver's license and current proof of insurance · Clean motor vehicle record with no significant violations About Valor Property Management: Founded in 2017, San Diego-based Valor Property Management has dedicated itself to managing a wide range of rental properties in southern California, including mid-to-large multifamily buildings, single-family homes, mixed-use, light commercial, and new and legacy construction.
