As a Marketing Technology & Operations Analyst, you will help design customer experiences across mobile, web and the broader marketing technology stack. 

The Marketing Technology & Operations Analyst will play a key role in Nextdoor’s Growth Marketing organization. Reporting to the Lead of Marketing Technology & Operations,  this person will be responsible for building a best-in-class marketing tech stack that supports our rapid growth and customer centric programs. You will support the growth marketing team in executing the strategic plan to roll out cutting edge martech stack. 

You will work with the lead to also identify, monitor, measure, analyze and report marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company’s goals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing processes and experience integrating data systems, developing workflows, coordinating cross channel platforms and telling stories with data.     

You will create scalable processes and an integrated system that ensures best practices in both member and small business acquisition and retention. 

Deliverables take the form of strategy and business cases with roadmaps to design scalable martech stack, reporting and analytics of key performance drivers and operational execution that creates leverage and delivers on our growth goals.

Key Responsibilities of the role are:  

• Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Lifecycle Marketing platforms, Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP), Content Management Systems (CMS), ETL /  RETL, UTMs, Tag management tools, analytics tools and multi-touch attribution are a major plus for this role. 
• Ability to write SQL, Python and HTML - the ability to dig into our datalake as well as various data connections will be a vital component of this role
• Knowledge of generative AI and the potential applications within the marketing context is also a major plus
• Ruthlessly prioritize your day to ensure timely delivery of roadmap deliverables
• Dig deep on identifying where data is coming from, where it should go and how to keep it safe. Being able to create intricate data flow diagrams is a plus. Being able to convey them to engineers is a major plus
• Know and be able to effectively use agile methodologies to manage projects. Being a certified project manager or SCRUM master is a plus

• 3+ years of experience in Managing Marketing Technology Roadmaps, Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, or similar
• An always be learning / optimizing mentality 
• Scrappy mentality - eager to take a vague idea, ask the right questions to refine it and then execute on it in a specific time frame 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (including mastery of Google Sheets)
• Ability to communicate complex numbers into actionable insights
• Advanced in data segmentation and reporting within a CRM and Marketing Automation system (Salesforce and HubSpot are highly preferred)
• Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools including Google Analytics and/or other funnel analytics and attribution technologies
• A proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking. Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail
• A clever wit and ability to compete against yourself on a daily basis

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $85,000 to $140,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
