Position Overview

Autodesk's Finance PMO is looking for an experienced program manager to provide cross-functional leadership over a multi-year program chartered with expanding our deployment of SAP's S/4HANA cloud platform. Previous releases focused on the initial implementation of S/4HANA and the migration of expense and revenue related business processes from legacy systems. Future releases will enable the use of adjacent technologies to further simplify business processes and reduce cycle times to introduce new go to market strategies. This could be a remote role, preferred location is the West Coast.

The Finance program manager will work with Finance and Engineering teams to document business requirements and process change impacts, coordinates solution design reviews, facilitate signoffs of functional and technical design documentation, execute test and training plans, identify risks, issues and dependencies, and collaborate with program leads to execute the plan according to schedule. You will oversee the execution of a compressed timeline involving multiple workstreams and communicate/present status to leadership on the overall health of the program. You must be able to establish the confidence and respect of workstream leads while handling conflict and challenges with grace and maturity.

This position reports to the Director, Finance PMO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple cross-functional workstreams
• Facilitate requirements gathering process, conceptual and detailed designs
• Assist with translating business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
• Ensure adherence to timelines, facilitate team meetings and communicate project status, risks and issues in a concise and professional manner
• Create and maintain resource plans and budget forecasts
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and drive efficient decision-making
• Serve as the primary PMO contact for Finance stakeholders and leadership
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels
• Proactively manage risk, anticipate potential issues and implement appropriate mitigations
• Keep executive sponsors informed via status presentations as well as appropriate escalations
• Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (finance, information systems, business or accounting preferred)
• 7+ years of ERP program management experience involving the following business process areas:
  
  • Offer to Price
  • Order to Cash
  • Financials and Reporting
• Working knowledge of (SAP or Oracle) ERP systems standard business processes and implementation methodologies; S/4HANA preferred
• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
• Experience with finance systems and reporting, particularly in technology / software sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification
