Barbaricum is seeking a Project Manager to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Philadelphia Division with the analysis of HM&E machinery and ship control systems for sensor and control data on surface ship classes. Support includes performing analytical and algorithm software; engineering, technical, logistics, and program support for the development, prototyping, implementation and in-service support of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support to various project and program leads.
• Responsibilities include tracking program spend rates, developing briefs and program documents, participating in technical meetings, and drafting meeting minutes.
• Develop Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) for initiatives, manage project efforts in support of an Integrated Master Schedule, and generate project plans and concepts of operation.
• Develop and present technical presentations and information to various stakeholders, including shipboard installation managers and program sponsors. Maintain tracking sheets for test equipment, purchase orders, and other assets.
• Provide support outside normal duty hours as required, manage travel logistics for contracted employees, and coordinate media destruction and meeting logistics.
• Prepare technical presentations and documentation in accordance with Navy policies. Assist in the development and maintenance of technical materials, including web-based documentation and manuals.
• Offer graphic design support by creating visual solutions for print and electronic media, including web design, presentation support, and training materials.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
• Five (5) years of as a Program or Project Manager, to include contract and sub-contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, and progress/status reporting.
• Experience in program management with teams >20 FTE 
• Experience with government reporting requirements and implementing cost control over complex projects.
• Experience with research and development projects
