Roofer/Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves various tasks related to roofing and labor on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year proven experience installing modified hot roof systems. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. • Assist in concrete forming and fabrication tasks as needed. • Perform frame carpentry tasks including framing walls and structures. • Lay tiles for roofing and flooring applications with precision. • Restore and maintain existing roofing systems to extend their lifespan. • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Experience • Previous experience in roofing or general labor is mandatory. • Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively is preferred but not mandatory. • Experience with stucco application is desirable. • Knowledge of concrete forming processes is beneficial. • Strong skills in frame carpentry and tile laying will be advantageous for this role. • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
