Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and innovative R&D Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing products within the food industry, focusing on culinary applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our offerings meet customer expectations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively. Responsibilities • Conduct research and development of new culinary products and menu items. • Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to create innovative recipes and food concepts. • Supervise the testing of new products in a restaurant environment, ensuring quality and consistency. • Manage inventory for R&D projects, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and materials are available. • Analyze market trends to inform product development strategies. • Provide training and support to kitchen staff on new products and procedures. • Document all findings and processes in a clear and organized manner. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred. • Experience in restaurant management or the food industry is highly desirable. • Strong skills in menu planning, banquet preparation, and culinary techniques. • Previous experience supervising teams in a kitchen or food production environment. • Proficiency in inventory management practices related to food production. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. • A passion for innovation in the culinary field with a keen eye for detail.
