PIPO Luxembourg is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Safeguarding Manager to join our Treasury team. In this pivotal role, you will shape and enhance the safeguarding framework to ensure regulatory compliance while supporting PIPO Luxembourg's strategic growth. You will thrive on designing innovative solutions, managing cross-functional projects, and embedding safeguarding best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Framework Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of PIPO Luxembourg's safeguarding framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory rules across multiple jurisdictions.
- Regulatory Expertise: Develop safeguarding policies for various products, analyze operational fund flows, and provide recommendations to meet safeguarding requirements for existing and new business models.
- Compliance Oversight: Lead safeguarding compliance efforts, including monitoring, remediation of breaches, and implementing enhancements to meet evolving regulatory standards.
- Audit and Reporting: Manage safeguarding-related audits, liaising with auditors and regulators while preparing and delivering management information updates to senior leadership and committees.
- Project Leadership: Drive projects aimed at developing and enhancing safeguarding processes and controls, collaborating closely with treasury teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and document safeguarding policies, deliver training materials, and promote best practices across the organization.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support global expansion and regulatory initiatives within the treasury function, contributing to PIPO's broader strategic goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of safeguarding and client asset protection regulations (e.g., EMI/PI safeguarding, CASS, or banking frameworks).
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations, including reconciliations, cash management, and FX, with a focus on risk and control frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including auditors and regulators.
- Proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail, critical for managing safeguarding policies and compliance requirements.
- Experienced in treasury, finance, regulatory compliance, or risk management roles, ideally in financial services.
- Demonstrated success in managing safeguarding or client asset-related processes within a regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with audits and regulatory engagement, showcasing the ability to address complex challenges effectively

- 3 years and above relevant experience
- Forward-thinking and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
