As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with visitors, tenants, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing their needs and concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:30 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to visitors as needed. • Work closely with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies. • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site procedures. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. • Alarm panel experience is preferred. • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
