As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through your attentiveness and professionalism. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by responding to inquiries, assisting with visitor management, and communicating important information to the appropriate personnel. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required. • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed. • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information about the location's procedures. • Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. • A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
