To learn more about us, please visit www.tgcsushi.com / www.sushicllc.com Title: Senior Accountant Position Description: The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for utilizing their strong accounting knowledge and thinking outside the box when it comes to performing their duties and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, financial management, and regulatory reporting. They will be tasked with managing multiple priorities including ensuring the financial data is processed timely, accurately, and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end AP, Credit Card, and expense reimbursement processes including matching invoices and data entry. • Assist with month end closing process by evaluating account balances and preparing any necessary journal entries. • Complete bank and credit card account reconciliations. • Ensure accurate and timely filing of state taxes. • Process weekly commission payments for multiple entities in a timely manner. • Maintain professional and timely communication with vendors, customers, and internal team members. • Collaborate and build effective relationships with other departments. • Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collections. • Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 3+ years of experience as an accountant or in an accounting related function required. • Masters’ degree or CPA a plus • Experience with cloud-based accounting software, NetSuite highly preferred • Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel required • Prior experience in financial reporting is a plus. • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
